Didn't come out as great as I thought they would, but they should be filtering into this site when I get the chance to do some editing and review.

I shoot exclusively 35mm. Most of my old photos are not online as they have no digital versions, but I continue to shoot new works, of which get digitized and uploaded.

I also shoot no models, and do little post production a possible.(denoise, color correction, etc...).

---equipment---
Camera Bodies - Nikon on FM-2 and FM-10 as a backup/alternate

Lenses -(all fixed focal length, no zooms)\
Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Soligor tele-auto 135mm f/2.8
vivitar wideangle 28mm f/2.5
Nikon Nikkor-Q.C 200mm f/4

All lenses have Tiffen UV protectors on them to prevent the blue wash in direct sunlight.

film - I shoot on kodak film for the most part.
right now:
Color - ektar 100, portra 400
BW- Tri-X 400, TMAX400

most of the older stuff is on gold 100/200/400 with a few rolls of 800
All black and white is on Tri-X 400.

As of june 2012, I'm going all porta400/ektar 100 as they are both excellent films that suit their respective niches well. 400 for evening, night, and late afternoon/twlight, and 100 for broad daylight. Look at the diffrence between the conusmer grade gold and the ektar/porta mix. its night and day.

Most time exposures are done on 100 speed film, except a few cases with 200.

I also have a yellow B/W filter, a 512 warming filter, and a contrast filter.

If memory serves [link] , you compared sectarianism in Israel with that of the Arab world. That was a poorly thought cheap shot.

yes, Israel doesn't have the problems with violence because they have US backing and $3billion in US aid, which lets them spend as they wish.

So your theory is that US backing and a bit of money, most of which goes straight back to US industry, is the only thing preventing Israelis from slaughtering each other like they do in the Arab world?

Syria has Iran's backing.... and 70,000+ dead. Iraq has US backing.... and quite a lot of dead as well. Yemen, Lybia, Baharain, Egypt... you have any idea what goes on in those countries?

Your theory compounds as a poorly thought cheap shot.

"So your theory is that US backing and a bit of money, most of which goes straight back to US industry,"
No, you see it works like this. What money we give you, just adds to the total you make otherwise. So whatever you spend it on, it frees up other money you would have had to spend. Lets also face it that "money that goes right back to America", would not stop if we stopped giving it to you. Israel is not going to suddenly stop buying US arms because we stop giving you money to do so. We just let you use other money elsewhere. Your trying to play a zero sum game with me.

"is the only thing preventing Israelis from slaughtering each other like they do in the Arab world?"

Yes. If you didn't have American, or Western backing, you wouldn't be constrained by our morals either. Morals you don't have.

Israel like the rest of middle east is built on national socialism. The only reason you have anything different is to keep western backing.
